My Thoughts on ‘Sportsgirl’ Makeup

My Thoughts on ‘Sportsgirl’ Makeup [vc_row 0=””][vc_column 0=””][vc_column_text 0=””]

Recently, I picked up a few items from my local Sportsgirl’s makeup section. Usually, I would honestly go straight past, However, I was in a really adventurous mood that day and boy am I glad!

My first impressions upon opening the few I got was bliss. I loved it. They were beautiful colours, the palettes were set out beautifully and I was just so happy to go home and try it. I was literally like a child in a toy shop.

I loved everything about them and probably would have bought the entire shop if my purse wouldn’t have hated me afterwards.

You know that saying, ‘dont judge a book by it’s cover?’ when it comes to makeup and beauty products, I am one of those judgemental people who do indeed judge by it’s packaging. I’m not sure why, maybe I associate amazing products with amazing packaging? However, saying that there are some amazing products out there that have the most beautifully simplistic packaging but it just some how works and draws you in. And, it’s incredible.

The packaging for the SPORTSGIRL makeup range is unique, clever and damn right pleasing. I could look at it all day and repeat buy it even if the makeup wasn’t great, just to look at it. It’s just one of those styles that just. Works.

They open just like a book and it’s so cute. The eyeshadow palette, the nude edit, I find extremely difficult to open, unfortunately. Maybe I got a dud or I’m just now discovering just how weak I am. 😂😂

When I swatched the colours and tried them on for the first time, I will say I was a little disappointed at first as the colours, especially in the nude edit, appeared a lot more pigmented in the palette than in real life once applied. If you wanted to see the difference, I filmed my first impressions video over on my YouTube channel.

The Kabuki (is that what its called?) brush was my favourite purchase. I have used it every single day since purchasing, and don’t see myself using something different, until I find something equally as amazing….Or even better! In my first impressions, I stated that I thought it didn’t blend well. After using multiple times afterwards, It. is. incredible. I love the style of brush, the length of the bristles and just how incredibly easy it is to use it. Another great brush to my ever growing collection.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_single_image image=”948″ img_size=”full” css_animation=”fadeIn”][vc_masonry_media_grid element_width=”6″ gap=”1″ item=”mediaGrid_SimpleOverlay” initial_loading_animation=”fadeIn” grid_id=”vc_gid:1492174452523-394e27e9-4570-4″ include=”947,946″][vc_column_text 0=””]I think if you are a beginner or are looking for a cheaper alternative to other brands, I feel that this is a really good starting point. Saying that, I have bought some higher priced eyebrow kits/colours before, and can honestly say I prefer this one better. I guess more expensive doesn’t always mean better!

Have you tried any sports girl makeup?! 🙂 xx ♥[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
