As the huge enthusiast for skincare that I am, I couldn’t possibly deny getting my hands on the Lancóme Crème -Mousse Facial Cleanser*last month when I was in town. Lancóme is one of those brilliant brands that went so unnoticed by me, on a count of ignorance. Ignorant of the products and how incredible they are, and ignorant to look past the hefty price tags.

I was so lucky as I got this included in a free gift pack as I had bought a couple of items that day that had totaled over a certain price. And not to mention, this is a full size bottle. How wonderful! You can probably imagine the size of my cheesy grin upon finding out it was a full-size bottle. I REPEAT. A FULL SIZE?!

Now, before this, I hadn’t actually tried out Lancóme’s skincare besides the odd sample here and there. So, as you can imagine, I was so excited.

When I first tried it out the soft, silky like texture felt so delicate against my skin. It was like washing in a sea of silk. Amaazzzinggg! This is also super gentle on my skin as I tend to get sensitive areas around my cheeks. Especially when in a rosacea outburst. (YAY ME! Delightful!)

I have a fair amount of skin cleansers, all ranging from different brands, price tags, and target areas. This cleanser is one I almost always see myself reaching for, especially on days where my skin is more irritated than normal. Or after using a pretty harsh exfoliator or mask. I just find that this really helps soothes my skin when inflamed and I just love that.

The consistency is somewhat close to that of the pomergranate smoothing cleanser from The Body Shop. You can read my review on it here.

It’s subtle enough for those of us with sensitive skin, and if you are lucky enough to have non-sensitive skin, then this will also work wonders for you.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]It doesn’t leave my skin in an oily mess afterward, nor does it leave it feeling like you’ve just put the harshest chemical on your skin and now has no moisture left. (You know when using certain cleaners and it feels like you’ve just got a round of botox? haha I.e, Not being able to move!)

It’s a genuinely, perfect all rounder face wash which I honestly couldn’t recommend enough.

What are your thoughts on this? Do you use/have used anything that is similar?
