I have always had really, really red skin. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always looked like I’ve rubbed about 5 tomatoes into my cheeks. It has given me grief!!!!! I also had a lot of acne problems growing up, and now my skin is left with huge pores, red, very sensitive and slightly scarred! It is honestly a nightmare. I have gotten it to a place now where I love it, and I’m currently trailing a new facial cleanser that seems to be working wonders at the mo, so I am assuming you shall see a review on that product on here soon! (Watch this space!)

My skincare routine has changed a lot in the past 2-3 years. I have started to use a lot of different brands, different types of formulas and consistencies (such as balms and oils), different moisturisers and toners. However, one thing that I did tend to neglect for majority of my teens, were serums.

I have a love-hate relationship that should be a love-love-relationship with serums, and upon finding 3 winners that I have used religiously every single day for the past year, I am 100% in love and can now see myself using serums forever! After being lazy, of course!

REN | Anti Redness Serum: This serum was the first serum I ever used. It took me a long time to get used to using it regularly, so I had trouble noticing the difference in my skin at first. I have noticed a huge difference in the redness of my skin since using this, and can honestly say I can rely on this to help my skin so much!

The Body Shop | Drops of Youth Concentrate: This has been one of the best serums I’ve used. It has dramatically changed my skin and I am yet to find a fault! It has become a lot more firm, and although I am only 23 years old, it’s never too early to start taking care of your skin, and prepping it for the future! I have also noticed a huge difference in the appearance and size of my pores! This serum has been an all around amazing serum with so many benefits and I can not recommend it enough!

The Body Shop | Drops of Light Brightening Serum: I think out of all of the three, this has to be my fav. Not only has it resurrected my skin, maybe just a little dramatic, but it has also made me a lot more confident in my skin as well. I have noticed a dramatic difference in the redness of my skin. As I said earlier, I have super red skin, and this, along with my anti redness serum, have been a huge help in the redness of my skin. I have now run out of this miracle worker, and am doing my routine without it and I feel so lost!

I feel like all of the serums combined have all worked together to make my skin the best it has ever been. I would recommend the Body Shop Serums to absolutely anyone as they are super natural, and are generally made for people with sensitive skin.

What serums do you use?!

Would you recommend me anything?!
