Have you ever walked into a drug store knowing exactly what you want? No? Yeah, me either. There is so many different cosmetic brands out there, and its always so tough choosing the right one; then you have to determine what colours suit you, if you’re warm or cool coloured, and hopefully get it right the first time, and if your skin is anything like mine, you won’t 😛
Last week I went over to Priceline to look at some drugstore foundations. I picked up the Maybeline – NY Super stay foundation in light beige; Maybeline NY, Eye and Lip remover, and a Covergirl Invisible Concealer (which I totally forgot to include in the above photo)
I then went across to the Benefit bar in Myer and picked up the highly anticipated Roller Lash Mascara. I was also given a goody box from benefit that included the Oil Blotter, and the Pore Minimiser in trial size.
Maybeline New York – Super Stay Foundation ($23.95 AUD) is a very light weight foundation, with an amazing stay power. I found that I didn’t really need to put a huge amount on my face either, as it spreads so easily and the texture isn’t really cake. The only thing I have found is that after an hour or two my foundation around my nose area starts to melt. Im not sure if its another product I’m using, but defiantly keep that in mind! I use a Real Techniques foundation brush and a beauty blender with this foundation. [/pipdig_right]
The Benefit Lash Roller Mascara ($40 AUD) has definitely been worth my wait. I have little to no lashes, and rely heavily on my mascara; I look so funny without mascara! It doesn’t look chunky when applied, which is a plus, and the wand is small in size; its perfect for those tricky lower lashes. It was a bit more pricey than i normally spend on mascaras, but it was defiantly worth it.
these are also the products I got;
